our story
Built by experience. Defined by conviction
Convergent grew fro ma practical need: sophisticated risk programs required a claims administrator willing to understand the client, honor the program, and remain accountable for the work.

Convergent was born from a conviction that the market deserved better.
foundation
Convergent was not created as a response to a market trend. It was built through decades of direct experience with complex casualty programs, and the conviction that organizations carrying meaningful risk deserved a better standard of claims administration.
Our foundation began in 1996. By 2000, that experience had developed into a dedicated third-party claims administration platform serving sophisticated, high-deductible programs and national accounts. Those formative years established the discipline, judgment, and service principles that continue to define Convergent today.
In 2017, the company became independent. Convergent Claim Services emerged with the freedom to bring its established approach to brokers, carriers, captives, and risk-bearing organizations across the market.
We understood what was missing: not another administrator making broader promises, but one prepared to accept greater responsibility.
Convergent was built to bring clarity to complex claims, accountability to consequential decisions, and confidence to the organizations entrusting us with their programs. We understand that claims administration is not merely a function performed on behalf of a client. It is the stewardship of their resources, reputation, relationships, and people.
That responsibility continues to shape who we are, how we serve, and the standard we are willing to carry.
purpose
Convergent was built on a solid foundation of simple principles, rooted in core values and moral backbone. We treat everyone with dignity and respect while providing exceptional claim handling, old-fashioned transparent communication, proper care, and attention to detail.
These principles are woven throughout our entire operation. They guide how we lead, how we make decisions, and how we care for the people and organizations entrusted to us.
To many, a claim is a number. To Convergent, a claim is a person, someone whose health, livelihood, business, family, or future may depend upon the decisions being made. We use technology to strengthen our work, but never to replace human judgment, professional instinct, personal accountability, or compassion.
We understand the privilege and responsibility of being entrusted with another’s resources, reputation, relationships, and people. We serve as guardians of that trust, a safeguard when circumstances become difficult and a bridge toward meaningful resolution.
This is more than the work we perform. It is the purpose behind how we serve.

The Culture of Convergent
We are proud of the culture we have built, one defined by integrity, accountability, courage, and genuine care for others. Our people understand that every claim represents a person and every client relationship is a responsibility entrusted to us.
We take care of our people so they can do exceptional work for the people placed in their care. That commitment is reflected in how we serve, how we lead, and how we stand beside one another when it matters most.
Our culture is not separate from our service. It is the reason our service is different.
